I don't think we could ever count the number of car accessories that exist. From coilover suspension and crate engines to fuzzy steering wheels and big DUB wheels. We even have companies that specialize in accessorizing cars. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , some do it very, very wrong.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

But what is one car accessory every car should have?

Blind Spot Mirrors. You should always look over your shoulder, but extra help is always great. Either that or those giant rear view mirrors for people who are too lazy to move theirs.

A comfortable shift knob. Mine is just a machined aluminum ball that's really nice to use.

More of a tool, no? And besides, the dial gauge's that hold the measure are much better.

Well, technically this does not count, since most newer cars have it as standard, but I'm gonna go with in-car speakerphone.

Safety kit with first-aid supplies, warning triangle or cones, flashlight + spare batteries, blankets for cold weather, booster cables, spare diapers for young children, snack bars or other ready-meals that last a long time, water, a reflective vest, tire pressure gauge and pump, basic tool set (screwdrivers, pliers), shovel, emergency flares... ok, I started to get carried away there with a few things, but you get the idea.

Bare minimum: first-aid kit, flashlight, blankets (for the cold), shovel (if you'll be in the snow or off-road) and a reflective triangle.

Manual boost controller. Even if it's NA.

A manual transmission.

Guess that's not an accessory.
